RECYCLING INFORMATION

We offer curbside recycling service for Faulkner County outside of City of Conway city limits. Please call our office number at

(501) 336-0758 to set up curbside service.

Rules & Regulations for Curbside Recycling Service:

We offer small recycling bins, but you are permitted to use a personal bin for your recycling. However, we require that you have a sign or write on the bin recycling on all sides, so our drivers are aware it is not trash.

Our drivers have diﬀerent routes each day of the week. We can’t guarantee a certain time on your scheduled day for service. We ask that you have your recycling out and visible by 7:00 am on your regularly scheduled day.

Our Facebook page and website is regularly updated with any important information regarding any route changes or holidays.

All recycling must be bagged and tied in CLEAR or BLUE translucent recyclable bags only. Loose recycling will NOT be picked up.

All cardboard needs to be broken down and ﬂat. If the cardboard does NOT ﬁt in a bag, place it in or beside the bin loose.

Do NOT place bins behind mailboxes, trash cans, or tall grass. Bins must be visible from the road for service. If your bin is not visible, you will NOT be picked up until the following week on your regularly scheduled pick up day.

If you live on a busy highway or if your driveway is on a curve, place your bin as close to the road as possible. This helps the drivers see your bin and collect the recycling quickly while in a dangerous situation.

The following items ARE accepted:
Cardboard:
Must be broken down flat and have no food or grease residue

Mixed Paper:
Magazines, notebook paper, poster paper, newspaper, copy paper, junk mail, phone books, books with hard cover removed, etc.

Shredded Paper:
Must be bagged separately

Aluminum & Steel Cans:
Must be rinsed and have no food or grease residue

Plastics #1 and #2 (non-hazardous only):
Water bottles, soda bottles, milk jugs, juice bottles, shampoo bottles, laundry detergent bottles, etc.

Styrofoam:
White, beaded Styrofoam only. Must be bagged separately

Typically used for packaging (Usually comes in boxes around TVs, appliances, etc.)

The following items are NOT accepted:

ANY KIND OF GLASS (mirrors included)

Plastic Bags (Wal-Mart bags, trash bags, etc.)

Plastic Totes or Lids

Plastic or Styrofoam cups

Plastic wrap or Packaging

Packing Peanuts

Food Waste

Food Contaminated Items (used paper products, take out containers, pizza boxes, etc.)

Gloves or Face Masks

Medical Waste of any kind (needles, band-aids, IV bags, tubing, etc.)

Medication Bottles

Personal Hygiene Products

Aerosol Cans

Pet Food Bags or Cans

Aluminum Foil or Products (foil pans, foil trays, etc.)

Batteries

Light bulbs

Ceramics

Clothing or Fabric Toys

Air Filters

Electronics of any kind
